The resilient chain reaction

Break your stress pattern

In Learning Lab 'The resilience chain reaction', we go back in time to understand why we sometimes get triggered (and someone else in the same circumstances does not). By learning about our amygdala, we can better anticipate our triggers.

There are different ways to deal with change, setbacks or stress.

“The trick is to choose the right strategy at the right time.”

To do that, we must first ask ourselves why something triggers us or throws us off track. We are triggered by things we are sensitive to. Throughout our lives, certain thought patterns form that can sometimes help us but sometimes really get in our way. Of course, we cannot change our upbringing and childhood. What we can influence, however, are our own thought patterns.

Your learning journey

This Learning Lab is divided into 4 different chapters that each add extra information to the topic. In the first two chapters (let’s explain & let’s dive deeper), the topic is explained in detail so that you are fully included. In the third chapter (let’s process) we offer information to process the topic even better and finally in chapter 4 (let’s reflect) we give you some exercises to get started yourself.
LET'S EXPLAIN
The explainer movie explains why you are triggered by a certain situation and how you can influence your thought patterns.
LET'S DIVE DEEPER
In the deep dive, we use concrete examples to delve deeper into the different factors that determine whether you are triggered or not. We will also look at what impact you can have on your thought patterns.
LET'S PROCESS
Watch the videos by Sapolsky and Covey to learn more about your triggers and how to deal with them proactively.
LET'S REFLECT
In the self-reflection, engage with your circle of influence and get more insight into your triggers.
