Map your stress signals

In Learning Lab 'My tipping point', we look at what happens in our bodies when we come under pressure and examine our own stress signals that indicate that our positive stress is tilting towards negative stress.
Like all other animals, we humans are perfectly equipped to deal with certain forms of adversity, stress and change. It is a mechanism from prehistoric times that we may still benefit from in the short term.

“What makes us different from many other animals is that for us, stress is not always limited to that brief moment”

We can also anticipate potential stress or change. To make sure that that fantastic short-term stress-response does not turn into a long-term predatory one, it is therefore crucial to keep a close eye on your body and mind's response so that you can put on the brakes in time.

Your learning journey

This Learning Lab is divided into 4 different chapters that each add extra information to the topic. In the first two chapters (let’s explain & let’s dive deeper), the topic is explained in detail so that you are fully included. In the third chapter (let’s process) we offer information to process the topic even better and finally in chapter 4 (let’s reflect) we give you some exercises to get started yourself.
LET'S EXPLAIN
The explainer video frames the tipping point from positive stress to negative stress.
LET'S DIVE DEEPER
The deep dive explains the theory in an E-magazine using the differences between the zebra and humans.
LET'S PROCESS
Processing is a presentation on stress signals using the metaphor of traffic lights in traffic.
LET'S REFLECT
In self-reflection, you will be challenged to identify your stress signals that indicate it is time to slow down.
